Involve! Include! Improve!
At the Food Festival, Youth Discovery Ventures hosted children's activities to engage them in talking about food. We also asked them to guess some of the traditional foods from our EVS volunteers' countries and spoke to them about Erasmus+ and European cultures.
Every last Friday of the month, from October 2017 until May 2018, participants of projects (sent by YY) came to our organization and presented their experiences in an unofficial way. The aim of these events was that all participants could learn from each other's experience in projects and they could also motivate others to take the opportunities given through youth mobility programs and go on an Erasmus+ projects. Throughout the year and depending on the amount of projects we had, there were around 10-30 persons on each Friday.

On May 14-18 2018, we organized meetings with high school students during which we presented the Erasmus + program. The youth learned about the possibilities offered by the program, how to participate in mobility and also about the idea of the program.
During the meeting, we presented photos and videos from our activities and we talked about the projects which were implemented by our Foundation. Young people were very interested and asked a lot of questions about participation in our projects. Similar meetings were held in four schools with which we cooperate. In the future, we plan further meetings with young people, through which we will infect young people with a passion for traveling, expanding their horizons and learning about new cultures. Thanks to the meetings we organized, we could share our knowledge and experience with young people through the activities under the Erasmus + program. The meetings were also a chance for us to summarize the activities that we undertook as part of the promotion of our KA2 project. On May 12 as part of our strategic partnership project we conducted a street survey!:D The survey was combined with a short presentation of our project and also about the Erasmus + program. In the survey we asked people about their knowledge of non-formal education (e. g. methods). We also asked about the Erasmus + program itself and the knowledge about it. We are very happy that over the years, thanks to the activities of organizations like our, program Erasmus+ is becoming more and more recognisable among the people. People are also becoming more open to educational initiatives undertaken by non-governmental organisations throughout Europe. Results of the survey below.
