Involve! Include! Improve!
Over a 2 day festival we engaged at least 200 people, supported 10 new volunteers to deliver activities in the local community and learn more about international volunteering.
YDV hosted activities at Sharrow Festival. We also invited all of the local EVS volunteers down to join us and spent the day discussing experiences and sharing stories with members of the public. We had EVS volunteers from 4 different projects in Sheffield join us.
We also met the Sheffield Lord Mayor Magid and spoke to him about the work we do through Erasmus+. Terrace✔
Beer ✔ Music ✔ The last party of the season on the terrace of Youthfully Yours GR, this time to officially celebrate the ending of the exam period and the beginning of Summer :) FB Event Went & Interested: 50&170 Youthfully Yours GR and 5 more youth organizations around Europe participated in a night of culture and fun!
On the 6th European Youth project hosted by Youthfully Yours GR under Erasmus+ for youth , Training Course "FaciliTRAIN" participants from: United Kingdom, Spain, Romania, Italy, and Slovakia, prepared traditional food-bites, music, dances and experiences from their countries at social center @Oikopolis – a parallel town. FB Event Went & Interested: 15&15 (in addition to participants) We were invited for a Youth Summit "More Youth", addressed to local power, youth workers and youth associations, promoted by the National Federation of Youth Associations (FNAJ) in partnership with the Regional Directorate for Youth and Sport. The opening session was attended by the Regional Secretary for Education, Jorge Carvalho, the President of FNAJ, Tiago Rego, and the Regional Director of Youth and Sports, David Gomes. It was discussed the importance of local authorities in defining new measures to encourage and promote youth participation in their local communities as a way to contribute to their training and emancipation. Teatro Metaphora disseminated international projects and explained to the students what are the opportunities that they can find with Erasmus+ programme. At the end of the event, one of the classes left their contacts and we involved them in a Youth Exchange. In June, we were again invited to the mainland by the same associations and we were there promoting our projects and talking with young people. Engaging at least 120 people, we offered activities at a local festival and spoke to them about Erasmus+ activities. We were also invited to speak on one of the stages to discuss the work we do through Erasmus+ and the difference it makes and how this work is important to "peace" and how we promote social cohesion through E+ projects.

The Rum Diary- 13/6 The Holy Mountain- 11/7 Also we made a special movie event with the naturalistic group "Gymnosophy" and in the frame of the 11th World Naked Bike Ride 2018 we projected a documentary and a movie on the subject of "free body". My Daughter the Teenage Nudist - 6/6 La Fonte des neiges - 6/6 FB Events Went & Interested: 30&85 At the Food Festival, Youth Discovery Ventures hosted children's activities to engage them in talking about food. We also asked them to guess some of the traditional foods from our EVS volunteers' countries and spoke to them about Erasmus+ and European cultures.
Every last Friday of the month, from October 2017 until May 2018, participants of projects (sent by YY) came to our organization and presented their experiences in an unofficial way. The aim of these events was that all participants could learn from each other's experience in projects and they could also motivate others to take the opportunities given through youth mobility programs and go on an Erasmus+ projects. Throughout the year and depending on the amount of projects we had, there were around 10-30 persons on each Friday.
